INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS
The most discreet path to a straight, gleaming smile in Sutton Coldfield
If you’re ready for a smile that transforms your appearance, Invisalign Clear Braces is your answer. Although there are many choices out there, no other treatment works as comfortably as Invisalign. Belwell Dental offer Invisalign to patients across the West Midlands, including, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield & Mere Green areas.
Your Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to their final position.
What’s more, a virtual 3d treatment plan shows the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment. This allows you to see upfront what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the treatment. From the results of your treatment plan, your custom-made, clear aligners are produced especially for you.
The Process: Invisalign At Belwell Dental
We usually begin with a consultation to determine what the best options are for you.
During this appointment, your dentist will examine your teeth and discuss your treatment goals with you. If clear aligners are the best option, your dentist will take either a scan or impressions of your teeth to create custom-made aligners.
We often create a digital mockup of what your smile will look like, and we can discuss this with you and adjust your plan if necessary.
If you are happy to proceed with your Invisalign treatment, we’ll send your impressions to the dental laboratory where the aligners will be fabricated using advanced 3D technology. Once your aligners are ready, you will return to us for a fitting appointment, where your dentist will ensure that they fit correctly and make any necessary adjustments.
Typically, you will wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before switching to the next set, and your dentist will monitor your progress regularly.
Once your treatment is complete, you will be fitted with retainers that you will need to wear long-term to prevent relapse of your teeth back to their original position.

WHAT CAN INVISALIGN HELP WITH?
Our Invisalign trained dentists have years of experience in perfecting patient smiles and achieving the best teeth straightening results for our patients in Sutton Coldfield.
Crowded teeth
Crowded teeth is a condition where you do not have enough room for your teeth to fit normally. This can cause plaque or tartar and other harmful bacteria to build up as it is harder for you to brush and floss well.
Gaps between teeth
Gaps between teeth is when there is extra space between two or more of your teeth. This can cause pockets between your teeth and gums and can cause food to get stuck making them tender and sore. This might also lead to gum disease.
Open bite
An open bite is when your upper and lower teeth don’t touch when you close your mouth. An open bite can make it hard for you to chew or difficult to bite even the most common of food like apples.
Underbite
An underbite is when you close your mouth and your lower front teeth are in front of your upper teeth. In many cases, this is actually a problem with your lower jaw being too far forward. An underbite can make it hard to chew properly and speak clearly, and it might cause your teeth to wear down more quickly.
Overbite
An overbite is when your upper front teeth overlap with your lower front teeth. Most people have at least a little overbite. When your overbite is too large, your dentist might tell you you have a deep bite. This can cause problems, from your teeth wearing down to pain in your jaw.
Crossbite
A crossbite is when you close your mouth and yet some of your upper teeth are sitting inside your lower teeth rather than on the outside. A crossbite can make your teeth wear down or chip. It can also make your gums start to recede or make little notches above your gum line. This kind of damage can lead to painful gum problems or even bone loss

INVISALIGN FOR TEENS
In their aim to design braces suitable for younger people to enjoy their lifestyles, Invisalign has included unique features in the Invisalign teen brace system that makes it stand out.
One feature is that the aligners are easily removable for normal daily activities, such as playing a musical instrument or sports. The aligners can be removed for eating and when brushing or flossing your teeth.
Invisalign teen braces are a lot more comfortable than traditional wired braces and require less routine disruptive visits to the dentist.
Another key feature for Invisalign teen treatment is discretion. These braces are designed without metal wires and use clear materials that blend in with their natural tooth colour making them virtually invisible.
